Statement for Correction | dated 22 August 2022
On 16th August 2022, I was apprised by Muna Almannai, who is a part of one of the stories in my book, as aforementioned, that certain information in the book, with respect to ‘Dream Book Program’ is incorrect.
That though all the information and stories in the book are based on the information provided by the participants in interviews conducted with them, keeping in view the disclaimer in the book, as well as the fact that Muna herself approached me to make the correction, I have made the following correction in the book, which shall reflect in the updated version as of 31st August, 2022.
The following part has been removed from the book since it has come to my knowledge, through Muna, that Ms. Aminath Sharahath, a citizen of Maldives, is the rightful owner and creator of the ‘Dream Book Program’:
“Muna has realized a dream of publishing a financial literacy course for youth ages 6-16. Created through her company Five & Co Advisory Ltd, Muna’s Dream Book program was recently launched and provided a supportive guide covering five life areas, including “faith, mind, health, relationships, and wealth.” The program, whose curriculum is accredited through the British Awards for Training and Higher Education Exam Board, is holistic and includes two books: The Dream Book and the Financial Literacy Activity Book. The program has been proven to be very successful. It fulfills a dream of Muna’s: to make financial literacy accessible for children to start them on the best financial path possible.”
And as mentioned above, this part has been removed and will no longer exist in the book as of 31st August 2022.
